As I reflect on 2024, I am filled with gratitude and purpose. The Elizabeth
House Foundation was born out of a deeply personal journey and a promise
to honor my late mother, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2008. Her
strength, resilience, and love inspire everything we do. This year, that
inspiration drove us to achieve remarkable milestones, all centered on one
mission: ensuring that underserved women, especially in marginalized
communities, have access to life-saving breast healthcare.
In 2024, we expanded our efforts, reaching deeper into communities often
left behind. Through mobile mammogram screenings, diagnostic services,
and patient navigator programs, we helped women not only detect breast
cancer early but also access the follow-up care they desperately needed.
Thanks to your unwavering support, we launched peer-to-peer fundraising
campaigns, empowering individuals to champion our cause, and brought
critical screening services to over 151 minority women across North Carolina.
